  • On October 28, Montana Public Radio's Evening Edition featured Flathead-area members Katie Wheeler and Lindsay Howard, as well as super-star food service director in Somers, Robin Vogler. Our section of the show starts 6 minutes and 54 seconds in.
  • The Helena IR, Billings Gazette, Missoulian, and Montana Standard all ran front-page FoodCorps stories over Labor Day weekend! 
  • The New York Times columnist Mark Bittman called FoodCorps "symbolic of just what we need: a national service program that aims to improve nutrition education for children, develop school gardening projects and change what’s being served on school lunch trays." He also noted the groundwork laid by Montana FoodCorps on his blog!
  • The Washington Post said that FoodCorps will do the "heavy lifting" for addressing the myriad of problems facing our national school lunch program. (And yes, there's even a quote from Montana here!)
